Studying Online, and Family Vacations
Have you ever been extremely passionate about something? Passionate in a way that you can’t think of anything but that one thing, and your thoughts are constantly reeling with ways to make your ‘thing’, whatever it is, happen/come true/realize you exist. I’m feeling this way about pursuing a degree in Art History.
I was introduced to Art History about a year and a half ago, when I was required to take an Art History Survey class as a part of my Interior Design major. Learning about the Renaissance and Early painters inspired me and made me want to know more. I loved studying for the tests because I loved knowing and learning about this stuff. I took Modern Art this spring semester and absolutely hated it, but I signed up for Ancient Art in the fall anyways. Am I crazy? I guess we’ll find out. I’m trying to find a reputable university that offers an online degree in Art History, but so far I’m not having any luck. If anyone knows of anything, please, let me know.
Moving on: Jordan met my family for the first time a few weekends ago. He, Alison, and I went to Nashville on a weekend trip, and had a great time. Alison went to a roller derby game, and Jordan, my parents and I went canoeing. There was something extremely peaceful about canoeing with the people I love. We were able to joke around and chat and have a lovely afternoon. I’d definitely love to go again sometime.
Currently, I’m looking up DIY wrapping ideas, because it is Jordan’s birthday today and while I have the gifts all in a box, I have no wrapping paper whatsoever.
